People's Public Hearing- Get Your Seat on the Bus!

Posted May, 21 2008 by arianne

As you know HCFANY will be heading up to Albany a week from today: Wednesday, May 28th for the People's Public Hearing: Health Care for All.

The lobbyists of the Health Maintenance Organizations and Pharmaceutical industry swarm the hallways of the capitol daily. May 28th is our opportunity to put the people's voices in the forefront of the battle for quality, affordable health care for all!

There will be one FREE BUS leaving from two locations from New York City.  The first stop is in Bushwick, Brooklyn (301 Grove Street btwn Myrtle and Knickerbocker) at 7:00am and the second stop is leaving from Penn Station (on the Northwest corner of 34th street and 8th Avenue) at 7:30am to head up to Albany.

Do you have members from YOUR organization to join us on the bus- travel to Albany and tell THEIR story of our broken health care system?  (Participants without a story are welcome as well)

Please let us know how many seats you would like to reserve on the bus for participants from your organization.

Seats are going fast and priority should be given to those who cannot afford their own transportation to Albany.

Please RSVP with the number of seats needed ASAP to: jwisneski@citizenactionny.org.
