Fact Sheet: Where Can New Yorkers Get Medicaid?

This new fact sheet explains where certain New Yorkers should go to enroll in Medicaid, and is meant for enrollment assistors, advocates, and other consumer assistors. Enrolling in Medicaid in New York can be complicated – depending on the type of person and type of Medicaid they are receiving, New Yorkers must either enroll through the NY State of Health or through their Local Department of Social Services (LDSS).
