Today, Governor Paterson announced the appointment of James J. Wrynn as the new State Superintendent of Insurance and Wendy Saunders as the new Deputy Secretary for Health, Medicaid and Oversight.  HCFANY welcomes them and looks forward to working together.

A Spending Cap
Yestersay, Governor Paterson announced that he plans to ask the Legislature to impose a spending cap over the next few years. The Governor’s spending cap plan would aim to cut $35 billion to $40 billion from the deficit over the next three to four years.
