NY-11 Town Hall (Brooklyn, Rep. Donovan’s District)
2017 Apr 19 - 7:00pm-9:30pm - Bay Ridge Manor, 476 76th Street, Brooklyn, NY
Federal government actions on public education, environmental sustainability, equality, health care, housing and immigration are some of the major issues at stake. Now more than ever, we need a forum for New York’s 11th Congressional District to learn and express concerns as a community.
Constituents from Staten Island and south Brooklyn have self-organized to create this first-of-its-kind event. They aim to empower our community with the knowledge they need about upcoming federal legislation to engage Rep. Dan Donovan on the issues that matter to them. As Rep. Donovan has not yet held a town hall during his tenure, we have invited him to participate (though he has not confirmed his attendance). This event will be held during the upcoming Congressional recess, ensuring he will be in-district on April 19.
Residents of NY-11, please join us for this free event. This District covers all of Staten Island, and the Brooklyn neighborhoods of Bay Ridge, Dyker Heights, Bensonhurst, Bath Beach and Gravesend.
