Funding for the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), known as Child Health Plus in New York, is set to expire in less than two weeks. Unless Congress takes action to renew CHIP funding, 630,000 New York children and millions of children across the nation could lose access to quality, affordable health care.
