Medicaid Redesign Team in Full Swing

Posted January, 25 2011 by arianne

The New York State Medicaid Redesign Team, created by Governor Cuomo to conduct a comprehensive examination of New York’s Medicaid system, is now in full force with a series of public hearings currently being held around the state.

The topic of the day will be how to reduce inefficiencies and waste in the Medicaid system while improving quality.  Any and all are welcome to come give suggestions, or to provide personal anecdotes and stories.  The panel only asks that you register on-site (no pre-registration required) after which you will be given 2 minutes to speak before the panel.  The word of the day then, would be “brevity.”

Need more han 2 minutes to speak your mind?  Suggestions can also be submitted in writing on the Medicaid Redesign web site at: http://www.governor.ny.gov/medicaidredesign.
