Protect Our Care: Calls Needed, New Resources Available
Posted March, 2 2017 by Amanda Dunker
Members of Congress may vote on an Affordable Care Act repeal bill as early as next week – but they have yet to release a public draft. Call your elected officials and ask them to show us the bill, and explain how it will protect the 30 million Americans who have health insurance because of the Affordable Care Act: 1-866-426-2631. You can also tweet questions at your representatives – click here to find all of the Twitter handles for New York’s Representatives. Here are a couple of examples from the Children’s Defense Fund and the Medicare Rights Center:
- URGENT: Call Congress now 1-866-426-2631 and ask to see the health care bill and tell us if it will #keepkidscovered
- .@RepChrisCollins, will you share the #ACA repeal/replace bill? RT if you want to see the bill. #ProtectOurCare https://t.co/vhltkGGUYP
