Every year, HCFANY submits comments to the Department of Financial Services on health insurance carriers’ rate requests. Below are our comments on carriers’ requests for 2017.
HCFANY is monitoring payment and delivery system reform in New York State and conducting advocacy to make sure that reform efforts reflect consumers’ needs.
New York State is undertaking several big delivery system reform efforts. These efforts are complex, but could make the health care system work much better for consumers. HCFANY put these principles together to provide a framework for consumer advocacy around delivery system reform.
