Comments Galore!

The summer may be cooling down, but the ACA is heating up as the feds continue to issue opportunities for public comment on ACA rulemaking. On August 21, as follow up to comments submitted in October 2011, HCFANY submitted comments on the final regulations for the health insurance premium tax credit. We await further guidance on tax credits, since there are still important decisions to be made about affordability. Yesterday, HCFANY submitted comments on data elements for the single, streamlined application that will be available through the Exchange. If you build it, they will come.
HCFANY will be submitting comments on new IRS financial assistance rules for nonprofit hospitals later this month – let us know if you’re interested in submitting your own. In the meantime, if you’d like to catch up on the latest rules, check out these:
