Issue Brief: HCFANY’s Reaction to the Governor’s Proposals–New York State Health and Insurance

HCFANY commends the Governor’s health and insurance proposals for simplifying New York’s popular public insurance programs, expanding Family Health Plus, and expanding funding for the uninsured. We also recommend implementing a Child Health Plus & Medicaid Buy-In, health insurance for young adults up to age 29, supporting the direct pay insurance market, and strengthening the Family Health Plus Buy-In program.
