After much anticipation and delays, the Governor’s office version of an Exchange draft is out and has been delivered to the Legislature.

In comparison with the Senate version, the Governor’s program bill includes provisions that would create a stronger governing body.  Included is the power to selectively contract with insurers on behalf of enrollees “so as to provide health care coverage choices that offer the optimal combination of choice, value, quality, and service.”
