Governor Cuomo’s 2014-2015 Executive Budget includes a Basic Health Program, consumer protections regarding out-of-network services, and support for consumer assistance programs. Governor Cuomo’s Proposed 2014-2015 Executive Budget includes a Basic Health Program, protections for consumers related to surprise out-of-network bills, and support for consumer assistance, among other provisions. HCFANY released a statement in response on January 22, 2014.
