How does Gov. Cuomo’s proposed state budget for FY 2021-22 help New Yorkers enroll in or keep their health insurance, and what else needs to be done? Join us to learn more about health coverage in the budget and beyond.  Topics covered include Medicaid, covering all immigrants, the Essential Plan, the New York Health Act, and what’s happening in Washington that will affect New York.  Speakers include Rebecca Novick (Legal Aid Society), Arline Cruz (Make the Road NY), Heidi Siegfried (Center for Independence of the Disabled NY), Ursula Rozum (Campaign for NY Health), and Mark Hannay (Metro NY Health Care for All).  We’ll also be holding some open discussion about how we can engage our state legislators as each chamber develops its one-house bills for consideration in early March.
