Yesterday, Senate Finance Committee Chair Max Baucus participated in a conference call with the Center for American Progress Fund. The Senator referred to the debate on a public plan option as the ”800 pound gorilla” and claimed “nothing is off the table.” Senator Baucus also stated that that two or three public plan options will be considered by the Committee and that he would encourage high level questions about the details.
