Advocacy: Letter to Department of Financial Services on Empire Proposed Rate Increases

HCFANY objects to Empire’s Rate Applications based upon its review of information available from the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (“NAIC”) and the additional actuarial memoranda and supporting documentation posted on the Department’s website. Based on the data reviewed, HCFANY urges the Department to reject Empire’s proposed rate changes.

HCFANY objects to HealthNow’s Rate Applications based upon its review of information available from the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (“NAIC”) and the additional actuarial memoranda and supporting documentation posted on the Department’s website. Based on the data reviewed, HCFANY urges the Department to reject or reduce substantially HealthNow’s proposed rate increases.
